What is it? Bespoke Post Box of Awesome
How Much? $45 per month + tax, plus $10-20 shipping to Canada (US dollars)
What's in it? Fresh & interesting lifestyle brands for men built around a central, unique theme

Bespoke Post is a lifestyle subscription box for men. Each month, Bespoke Post sends a new "Box of Awesome" - a box filled with a limited edition collection of products built around a specific theme. To complement the box, Bespoke posts how-to-videos, tips & tricks, and interviews with the makers.
"We scour the world for time-tested, small-batch, or otherwise remarkable gear. Our goal is to introduce men to something new."
On the first of each month, Bespoke Post announces the monthly selection via e-mail. Some months there are multiple new boxes, and once in a while they bring back a favourite from the archive. If there is more than one box available, Bespoke Post will select one for you and that will be your "Club Shipment" for the month. If you like your Club Shipment, do nothing. Your box will be sent automatically mid-month. If you want to change your selection, or skip the month, you have until the 5th to login to change, skip, or add additional items to your shipment.

I've been subscribed to Bespoke Post for over a year, but this is only the fourth box I've received. Since the box is geared towards men, I usually hold out for food themed boxes (The Butcher from Nov 2013 and Seared from June 2013), or other fun gender-neutral collections, like Bask from June 2014.

October's selection was "Highlands" and featured a beautiful Mongolian wool scarf. I ordered this one with my Dad in mind... it will make a great Christmas gift! The box ships via UPS and took about a week to arrive.

Highlands
When the mercury dips, fight back on all fronts.
When you step out into the crisp air, wrap up in a luxe custom scarf that'll keep you warm while adding some punch to your outfit. To protect your skin, switch to top-of-the-line grooming goods that'll keep you looking and feeling fresh despite the dropping temps. Then light some grown up incense while you're settled in at home to wind down and warm up.

Port Products Grooming Essentials Kit ($28)
Includes 1oz Detoxifying Cleanser, 1oz Balancing Moisturizer, and 1oz Shave Cream.
Dry, cold weather can wreak havoc on your mug. Fight back with these additions to your daily grooming. They’re high-quality renditions of skincare basics, using natural ingredients and a touch of modern science for best-of-the-best end results. They won’t add any new steps to your morning routine, but they will make your face look even better than usual.

Paine Products Balsam Incense Sticks (14 sticks with holder, $4)
Pour yourself a drink, grab a book, and light up one of these for a very cozy night in. While the stick smolders in the included wood holder, it'll suffuse a balsam fir scent throughout your pad that will make you forget all about the cold wind blowing outside.

Gilded Age Mongolian Wool Scarf in Charcoal ($125)
Look great while staying warm. This custom woven number uses extra fine 100% Mongolian wool. It's extra soft, exceptionally cozy, and lightweight enough to wear all day long. That's because it's been developed by Mother Nature to protect sheep living in the harsh elevation of the far-flung Mongolian highlands -- which means it can handle your blustery commute, no problem.

The scarf is beautiful - super soft without being scratchy and oversize so it's easy to wrap and tie. My dad has a black wool coat and this scarf will go perfectly and the included product card lists four ways to tie a scarf, in case he needs some pointers.

The October Bespoke Post - Highlands - included three products, with a retail value of $157! I paid $65.40 US for this box ($45 box, $5.40 tax, $15 shipping to BC) so it's more than double the value. Bespoke Post collects the tax/duties in advance, so there are no additional costs upon delivery. I'm very happy with the scarf. It is great quality and it will make a wonderful Christmas gift. The Grooming Kit will be gifted to a good guy friend who appreciates quality products like these. The incense I think I might keep for myself. It might be good to add some Christmas ambiance during the holidays.
