There are 7 Blocks to choose from: Nerd Block Classic, Arcade Block, Comic Block, Horror Block, Sci-Fi Block, Nerd Block Jr. Boys, and Nerd Block Jr. Girls. First look

Brain Stress Ball ($1.49)
This is a bonus to celebrate Nerd Block's first anniversary!

Scribblenauts Unmasked ($5.99)
I've never heard of Scribblenauts before now and I still don't really understand what they are!

Sounds of the Galaxy Mix Tape Custom T-Shirt  (~$20)
This Gaurdians of the Galaxy theme t-shirt is exclusive to Nerd Block subscribers. The value is approximate based on similar style and quality t-shirts.

Giant Microbes STD Plush - The Pox ($9.95)
I didn't know what to make of this one but after reading the accompanying card (below), I get they are looking to bring awareness to STD's. It's a cute way to do it I guess. Thankfully I have a co-worker who loves this kind of crazy stuff so I passed it on to her... and now she can forever claim that I gave her Syphilis.

STD's - even uglier than you realized!

Marvel Mega Blocks Mystery Figure ($4.49)

\
Funko Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Papercraft Playset ($9.99)
This is the boy version of paper dolls. It's pretty hilarious.

The September Nerd Block contained five products, valued around $32, plus a cool custom T-shirt. With tax and shipping, this box cost me $30.18. When you factor in the estimated value of the t-shirt, this box is worth close to $50. I only subscribed to Nerd Block to review a couple Blocks for my blog, but if you're into sci-fi, comics, video games, and that sort of thing, this is a fun box. Most of the items I received will be donated to a holiday toy drive in December.

If you are interested in trying Nerd Block, they have released a spoiler for the October box. The theme is COLLIDE - Marvel vs. DC and the items will be selected by famed director Kevin Smith!

Boxes start shipping October 15th so you have until then to sign up and be guaranteed the October box. Use promo code SUPERHERO at checkout to save 10% off your first month. Click here to check out Nerd Block.

  2. Very cute box. I actually gave out Giant Microbes as wedding favours to my guests because my husband and I come from a biology background. I gave syphilis to quite a number of guests! LOL
