What is it? Ipsy Glam Bag
How Much? $10 per month, plus $4.95 shipping to Canada
What’s in it?  4-5 beauty products every month
My September Ipsy Glam Bag shipped September 8th and arrived September 15th. I resisted peeking at spoilers this month so I had no idea what to expect.

In honour of New York Fashion Week, the theme for September is Street Style.
All eyes are on NY but our eyes are on YOU. Are you ready?
CAILYN Art Touch Tinted Lip Gloss in Love Affair (full size, $19)
Intensely Colorful + Artistically Glossy. CAILYN Art Touch Tinted Lip Gloss delivers the stunning color impact of a lip stain and high shine of a lip gloss. This silky smooth gloss glides on your lips like butter, leaving you with a lacquer like finish.

The colour of this gloss is gorgeous! It's a rich wine colour and will be great for fall and winter.

Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask (1oz, $4.95)
Repair and treat dry, damaged and breaking hair with Don't Despair, Repair!™ deep conditioning mask. Fortified with ultra-hydrating avocado, sweet almond & argan oils, strengthening keratin protein, power-conditioning rosehip oil, soothing aloe, and super hair-essential vitamins B5, D, A, E and biotin. This unique complex of targeted ingredients helps increase hair elasticity and moisture to prevent breakage, promotes healthy shine and luster, and replenishes strength.

Nourish Organic Moisturizing Cream Face Cleanser (1oz,  $2.33)
This gentle cleanser washes away impurities without drying, irritating or causing redness. Cucumber hydrates and soothes. Watercress, rich in antioxidants, helps protect skin from free radical damage. Alcohol-Free. Gluten-Free. Vegan.

I received a Nourish Organic Moisturizer before and I like it. I'm happy to try more of their products.

Pacifica Natural Water-Proof Eye Pencil (0.73g, $5)
These rich water-proof, buttery smooth eye pencils glide on smooth and deliver big color pay off with every stroke. Long-lasting natural formula, provides hours of wear and contains beneficial ingredients great for the sensitive eye area.

This liner is about half of a full size one. It's bigger than the eyeliner I received from Ipsy last month, but still kind of small and pathetic.

Crown Brush Infinity Shadow/Crease Duet Brush (Full size, $17.50 - on sale $6.99)
This dual-ended brush offers the best of both worlds. The shadow brush is perfect for applying eye shadow or contouring the eye, while the crease brush is designed to be used dry for defining the eye, or wet for precision concealing.

This seems to be a nice brush, but I already have one similar from bareMinerals.

The September Ipsy Glam Bag included five products with an approximate retail value of $38.27 (or $48.78 if you use the non-sale price for the brush). I love the gloss and I look forward to trying the face cleanser and hair mask. The liner and brush will be added to my swap/sell board. This is representative of a usual Ipsy bag - a mix of hit and miss products. I'm never overly disappointed or overly excited, but I am happy with the products I received.

What did you get in your Ipsy bag this month?

  1. The lip gloss is a gorgeous fall color!

  2. I received same products as you this month again :) I actually really like the brush, but lipgloss is not my colour

  3. mine got lost in the mail, so Ipsy very nicely assisted me in getting a replacement bag. i'm curious to see if i'll end up with different things than they posted, but i'm waiting for the shipping notification. canada post is a bugger sometimes.

  4. wanted to update that Ipsy Care was amazing. i see a lot of people complain on their forums, but they got back to me quickly and replaced my bag after confirming that it wasn't received. they managed to replace all items in my glam room but instead of a full sized NYX eyeshadow i got a full sized NYX blush in addition to the make up brush, hair conditioner, brown eyeliner and a lipstick that comes out more pink than plum but still quite pretty.
