Elizabeth & Clarke Review - Fall 2014 - Clothing Subscription Box + PROMO CODE

What is it? Elizabeth & Clarke
How Much? $60 per quarter for 3 shirts, $50 per quarter for 2 shirts, $30 per quarter for 1 shirt. Shipping to Canada is $15.
What’s in it?  Designer-quality blouses and tees delivered every 3 months, at the beginning of the season.

Elisabeth & Clarke is a clothing subscription service that sends designer-quality tops to your door every season. They are called "perfect basics" because the tops are all made of quality fabrics, in neutral colours. The styles are fashion forward and appropriate for any lifestyle.

This is my second Elizabeth & Clarke shipment. My first one was in the Spring and I wasn't super thrilled with it. The blouse I received was great quality, but the fit and sizing was off. I decided to skip the summer season and hold out for fall and winter.

The Fall Collection  featured three new shirts, along with two from the Forever Collection. I opted for The Allende, a camel-coloured sweater.

First look

The Allende
This camel-colored sweater will keep you cozy from fall into winter. We searched for the perfect textile for this fall staple; it is heavy but also incredibly soft, and warm but without added bulk. We added vents to the sides and a few other chic details like an oversized hem and extra-high neckline.

Once again the quality of this top is fantastic. It's a soft and sleek viscose/acrylic blend. The knit is lightweight and perfect for transitioning between seasons. I ordered a size up for a more cozy, oversize fit and I absolutely love it. My only wish is that the neckline was cowl-neck, turtleneck, scoop-neck, or even boat-neck. Anything but what it is... the high neckline looks odd. Regardless of that, I think this top will look great with leggings or skinny jeans and boots. It will work on it's own or under a blazer or quilted vest.

The Bronte is back and even better than before! We took this already great style and made it even more fabulous by sourcing the perfect chiffon fabric and meticulously re-shaping the garment to perfection. With its two-tier design and super high neckline this is the ultimate subtle statement piece that will inspire compliments everywhere you go.

The Williams is the ultimate long sleeve tee to take you from day to night. With its super-soft fabric and chic asymmetrical hem it keeps you comfortable while staying stylish, and who doesn’t love that combination?

The Swan is the ideal comfy-chic sweater to get you through those cold winter months. Its’ super-soft fabric and flattering fit will earn this sweater a permanent place in your winter wardrobe. The adorable suede elbow patches and unique knitting at the hem take this sweater from staple to special.
If you don't like these ones, the Forever Collection is also available, as always. I opted for The Swan. Something about elbow patches always gets me!

If you are interested in Elizabeth & Clarke's Winter Collection, be sure to read the FAQ page before signing up. They include a size chart and all the payment, order, and shipping dates for each season. You will be charged as soon as you sign up, but the next collection doesn't ship until December 1st. After that you will be charged on December 15th for the Spring Collection, which ships by March 1st, and so on. It's a little confusing, but Elizabeth & Clarke bills so far in advance because they make the shirts to order.
