**November 2016 - This company is no longer in business**
What is it? Paws & Play
How Much? $15-$39 per month plus $5 shipping for all plans.
What’s in it? A collection of new & exciting discoveries for your pet.
  • To Go Box: 4-7 popular items from previous boxes for dog or cat ($15)
  • Premium Box: 7-10 of the best and newest products for dog or cat ($30
  • Mix Pet Box: 9-17 items for your cat AND dog! ($39)
Paws & Play offers boxes for dogs, and cats! Since my last review, they updated their subscription plans and now offer dog subscriptions based on breed size. There are five different sizes to choose from - toy, small, medium, large, and giant. I reviewed a dog box in April, so this month Paws & Play generously sent me a Premium Cat Box for review.

Niko is helping with the review today. As soon as Niko's mom put the box on the floor, he was all over it. After sniffing it out for a while, we opened it up to see what was inside.

First look

Paws & Play doesn't include a traditional product card. Instead product write ups can be found online each month.
Second look - lots of toys!

Now it's Niko's turn. After giving everything a once over, he honed in on the catnip toy immediately.

Chomper Kylie's Vintage Spool with Feather ($6)

Purebites Freeze Dried Beef Liver Cat Treats (24g bag, $4)

Kong Active Moppy Ball ($4)

Fat Cat Zoom Stuffers! Catnip Toy ($7)

This toy was the most popular, not surprising. Niko didn't even wait until the toy was cut off the cardboard.

Wellness Healthy Indulgence Tuna Recipe (3oz, $3)

Tiki Cat Gourmet Whole Food Sardine Cutlets (2.8oz, $2)

Natural Chemistry Waterless Bath (8oz, $9)

Kitty Boinks? I'm not sure what these are. They aren't listed.

The May Paws & Play box for cats includes 8 items, valued around $35. This was a good box for Niko. The toys were a hit, especially the catnip toy. Niko enjoyed the Purebites and Wellness food, but the turned his nose to the Tiki food. The Waterless Bath didn't go over well. Don't spray liquids at a cat if you want him to cuddle with you at night! Overall it was a great box and Niko was pleased. If you are interested in trying Paws & Play for your own cat, be sure to check out their website.

  1. Those straws are supposed to act as springs and fly away so that cats would chase them... I got one for free from a pet store, they said their cats adored the toy. My cats were really scared of it.

  3. my cat loves those straw things but honestly it gets lost under a bit of furniture so fast, i now just 'borrow' fat straws from vendors at the mall, cut 'em in half and away he plays. if you're cat likes things that fly erratically, he'll like those.
