Paws & Play Review - June 2014 - Pet Subscription Box

This box was received complimentary for review.

** November 2016 - This company is no longer in business **
What is it? Paws & Play
How Much? $15-$39 per month plus $5 shipping for all plans.
What’s in it? A collection of new & exciting discoveries for your pet.
  • To Go Box: 4-7 popular items from previous boxes for dog or cat ($15)
  • Premium Box: 7-10 of the best and newest products for dog or cat ($30
  • Mix Pet Box: 9-17 items for your cat AND dog! ($39)
Paws & Play is a newer Canadian subscription box for dogs or cats. You can pick a box for your canine, feline, or both. Dog boxes can be tailored to breed size, with five different sizes to choose from - toy, small, medium, large, and giant. I reviewed a dog box in April, and a cat box in May. This month, Paws & Play generously sent me another premium dog box for review.

Packaging & new promo cards

Paws & Play doesn't include a traditional product card. Instead product write ups can be found online each month. Let's see what I got for the pooches in my life this month:

Ethical Plush Mini Skinneeez Stuffing Free Dog Toy  - 14" Donkey ($8.49)
My mom's standard poodle Mia LOVES stuffless creatures. She carries them around in her mouth like roadkill.

Earth Rated - Green Leash Dispenser with Lavender Scented Poop Bags ($7.99)
This product is from a Canadian company, based in Montreal.

FeelGood Treat Company Lamb Ranch Bars (half pound bag, $5.89)
These treats are from another Canadian company, based in Delta, BC. They are handmade and preservative free.
Open Range 100% All Natural Pet Treats Flat Beef Chomper (~$2)

Pet Botanics Beef with Bacon Flavour Food for Dogs (2.75oz, $1.49)

The Honest Kitchen embark Dehydrated Whole Food for Dogs (sample)

earthbath Oatmeal & Aloe Itch Relief Pet Shampoo (1oz sample)

The June Paws & Play box contained 7 products, valued just over $25. The estimated value doesn't include the two sample products. The box info page indicates there should have been an 8th product, a nose balm for dogs, but I didn't receive that product in the box. I love seeing products from Canadian companies featured in a Canadian box so the FeelGood treats and the poop bags are a win. The stuffy will be gifted to my mom's poodle and the other treats will be saved for Jack. The  treats are always a hit with him.
