Ipsy Glam Bag Review - March 2014 - Beauty Subscription Bag

This post contains referral links.

What is it? Ipsy Glam Bag
How Much? $10 per month, plus $4.95 shipping to Canada
What’s in it?  4-5 beauty products every month

The March Ipsy Glam Bag is here and the theme this month is Destination Beauty.

"Exotic beaches or a simple stay-cation - what beautiful destination is your March Glam Bag getting ready for?"

The cosmetic pouch is part of Ipsy's new Artist Series. The design is exclusive to Ipsy, and was created by San Francisco based artist Klari Reis. The print is from her geography-based series titled "Street Anatomy" and this bag showcases San Francisco. The monthly info card also features her artwork. It's a pretty cool idea.

I redeemed Ipsy referral points and received this Benefit High Beam complexion enhancer for free. I was really surprised to see it's a full size product, worth $26.

 First look!

Pacifica Body Butter in Indian Coconut Nectar (2.5oz, $7)
Smell incredible with our nourishing and anti-oxidant rich ingredients. The Pacifica Body Butter helps fight signs of aging while adding deep moisture and protection.

I LOVE Pacifica products so this is great.

Chella Eyeliner Pen in Indigo Blue (0.40oz full size, $24)
Highly innovative, never-done before - this pigmented, non-staining eyeliner ink provides a sleek, high-intensity eye make-up that lasts all day.

The blue scared me a bit but a co-worker received it as well and she says it's "unreal", whatever that means!

Be a Bombshell Eye Shadow Quad in Bora Bora (4.8g full size, $16)
The Bora Bora Eyeshadow Quad contains a highly pigmented long lasting formula for all day wear.

I like Be a Bombshell products and I use Birthday Suit almost daily as a base, but I'm not sure I'm ready for colours like these ones.

bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Get Ready (0.05oz, $7.50)
Make an impact with Marvelous Moxie™ Lipstick. Creamy, super-saturated, ultra-pigmented color glides on like butter for full coverage in a rich satin finish.

I've heard so much about the Moxie line of lip products so I am excited to try this lipstick. It's a great colour for me too.

The March Ipsy Glam Bag included only four products, but they are pretty darn good ones! The approximate retail value this month is $54.50. I'm happy with everything received and I can't wait to put some of these products to use.

If you are interested in trying Ipsy, please consider signing up using my referral link.

What did you get in your March Ipsy bag?

  1. The eyeliner is totally unreal! Hard to describe, but it's gorgeous. Maybe not if you're into neutrals, but it looks great with neutral shadow and this as a pop of colour.

  2. I love the eyeliner! It is very wearable because it's so dark & it goes on like a dream.

  3. my deep set eyes mean that eyeliner 'repeats' on me, although i continue to use shadow as coloured liner - but back on point, that product was easy to use, doesn't transfer onto my upper lid and adding more makes the colour more intense. will i pay $24 US plus shipping for it, no, but I will use it until it dries up. also, the blue with my brown eyes is great. i'm wearing it today.
