Julep Maven Review - January 2014 Modern Beauty - Beauty Subscription Box + PROMO CODE

What is it? Julep Maven
How Much? $19.99 per month, shipping included
What’s in it? At least $40 worth of products chosen depending on your style profile, or upgrade your box for an additional fee and get the entire collection.

January's Maven theme is the Boudoir Collection and features "fancy finishes & top drawer products", including the new silk-finish polishes. I'm not in the need of more polishes, so I opted for the Modern Beauty box, which normally consists of two full size beauty products, but this month includes three.

Vanish Cuticle Softener & Remover ($18)
This is a brand new item in the Julep product line. I have horrid cuticles so I figured I could use it!

Ta Da! Quick Dry Drops ($14)
Formerly known as Quick Dry Polish Drops, this is one of my favourite Julep products. I am nearly out so this bottle comes at a good time.

Essential Cuticle Oil ($18)
I already have one bottle on the go and another waiting in the wings, but like I said, I have horrid cuticles. The roll on applicator is the best.

Julep also includes two little file/buffer pads as a bonus. I'm really happy with this box. Every product is something I need and will use. The products have a retail value of $50! I received this box for free by redeeming Julep Jules (rewards points) but normally the box is $19.99 and guarantees at least $40 worth of products.

If you are interested in becoming a Julep Maven to get the monthly Maven Box, access to the mothly Secret Store, free shipping on all purchases, discount pricing, and other special bonuses and promotions, please sign up using my referral link! You can also use code FREEBOX to get your first monthly Maven Box for free. You just have to pay shipping.

What do you think of the Modern Beauty Maven Box? Which box did you receive?

  1. I've got to get some of that Quick Dry Drops. It would make my life a lot easier. Does it really work?

    1. The drops really work. Not sure how or why.
