Bespoke Post Review - November 2013 "The Butcher" - Men's Lifestyle Subscription Box

What is it? Bespoke Post Box of Awesome
How Much? $45 per month, plus $10-20 shipping to Canada
What's in it? Fresh & interesting lifestyle brands for men built around a central, unique theme

It's been a long time since I ordered a Bespoke Post Box of Awesome. The last one was in June. I really appreciate subscription boxes that have a skip option, and Bespoke Post is one of those boxes. On the first of the month BP releases their box options and subscribers have a few days to select or skip. I usually skip, since this is a box geared towards men, but once in a while a food themed box comes around, and I can't pass up anything related to food.

The November Bespoke Box is called "The Butcher".

We're reinvigorating your holidays and breathing new life into old standbys. From snacks to drinks to all-purpose essentials, use ‘em whether you're entertaining, cooking, or just lounging around.

Treeline Woodworks - Butcher block ($115)
This a custom made butcher block made from reclaimed walnut and maple. It's gorgeous. I already have a great bamboo butcher block so I plan on using this as a serving tray. It will be perfect for displaying and serving my Carnivore Club selections.

Liber & Co. - Spiced Tonic Syrup (8.5oz, $13)
I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am to try this. As soon as it hits cocktail hour I am kicking back with a G&T.

Marie Sharp's - Habanero Pepper Sauce (5oz, $2.95)
I'm not a big hot sauce fan, but it's always good to have around for more adventurous guests.

Lord Nut Levington - Rebel Mary Peanuts (8oz, $5.49)
This nut company looks fun. The other flavours in the Lord Nut lineup have hilarious names. I'd like to try Thai Dyed, El Cheddarales, and Cinnapplooza.

Noble Handcrafted - Bourbon Aged & Tahitian Vanilla Maple Syrup Set (2 x 2oz, $9)
Two more products I can't wait to try out... pancakes for dinner perhaps.

Slavo Salt - Salt Sampler (Offered free at Slavo

Along with all the products included in "The Butcher" collection, I also ordered a couple things from the Bespoke Post shop. Add-on products ship free with your monthly box.

  • Sir Kensington Ketchup - I've heard great things about this ketchup!
  • Blox Style Wood Butter - to keep my great butcher block healthy.
And I also found this little bonus treat in my box... random. Snickerdoodle is a seasonal flavour offered by Larabar. I can't wait to try it out!

Bonus item!

November's Bespoke Post offering "The Butcher", included 7 products with an approximate retail value of $145! It's an incredible value, even with the $20 Western Canada shipping fee. The cutting board is beautiful and it's something I will have for years to come. That alone makes this box worth it.

What do you think of the "The Butcher" from Bespoke Post?
