*This box is closed*
What is it? SeasonsBox
How Much? $34.90 monthly, $99.70 quarterly, $174.50 semi-annually, $349 yearly.
What's in it? 3-5 luxurious full size seasonal must-have products for your home, body and spirit

The changes with Seasons Box keep on coming. Bright and early August 1st, I was greeted with an e-mail titled "Peek Inside the August SeasonBox". Preview e-mails! Not only that, but they actually released the preview ON TIME! The last few months have seen the previews released two to four days after the first of the month. I really liked the preview e-mail. It's a nice change. (Things have changed as of September. Stay tuned for my next review.)

The box also shipped on time again this month. I received a shipping notice on August 13th. Another great change. Last month, I received no shipping notice. The box just showed up, very unexpectedly.

The theme of August is "Get in Touch with Nature".
While summer turns up the temperature we all seek refuge from the gruelling dog days of summer. We look for cool refreshing mists to cool us down and recharge us while we anticipate our last summer getaway or a chance to sit out and enjoy those warm summer nights.

Vapur - Anti-Bottle Fun Size Two-Pack, ($11.99)
The Anti-Bottle is a reusable water bottle designed to stand when full and can be rolled, folded or flattened when empty, making it easy to a carry on any adventure. Unlike bulky and rigid bottles the portable Anti-Bottle can be easily tucked away.

Eat Green Tea, (100g, $25.99)
Eat Green Tea can be added to your diet in a variety of creative and delicious ways – from smoothies to meatloaf. Not only is it a nutritional powerhouse but a delicious seasoning that we have begun to crave! has an extensive archive of recipes to choose from and we can’t wait to try them ALL!

Tikki Bar Soap - Green Tea Lotion Bar, (1oz weight, $8.00)
This vegan lotion bar is made with green tea butter and wintergreen essential oil. It smells very minty, and does a wonderful job of moisturizing extremely dry skin, especially hands, feet, elbows, knees, or anywhere that typically gets dry.

Puur Body - Lavender-Martini Body Oil, (4oz, $8)
The product card says we were supposed to receive a citrus body mist. Instead we received a lavender scented dry body oil. I can't find this product in the Puur Body Etsy shop either (there are other body oils but none with this scent). I honestly would have prefered the product we were suppose to get. Not sure why this was swapped out. SeasonsBox did not reply to questions about the issue, posted on Facebook.

The August SeasonsBox contained 4 products, valued at just under $54. It's a pretty good value. I love the product mix and I'm looking forward to using the bottles and the green tea. I wish the Puur product was the one advertised but I will put the body oil to use.

What do you think of the August SeasonsBox?

  1. Nice to hear what's been going on with them. I'm kind of glad I never subscribed. You know I don't want anymore hassles with sub. boxes. I'm glad you're happy with your box!

  2. I've been taking a teaspoon of the green tea daily for about two weeks now, and I do feel better ... although I don't know if that's long enough.
