New Subscription Box - Bonjour Jolie


There's a new "time of the month" subscription service launching in May and this one ships to Canada! At first I thought it might be a Canadian company since the name is French, but Bonjour Jolie is actually based in sunny Florida!

Bonjour Jolie is run by a mother-daughter team and promises to provide you with "what you need, as well as what you want, to sail through your monthly period with ease". Each monthly box will contain feminine products of your choice, specialty bath & body items, gifts, teas and chocolates. They also offer boxes aimed at teenagers.

To start your subscirption, you fill out a "period profile", letting Bonjour Jolie know the date of your next period, the length of your cycle and the level of your flow. Next you select your feminine products. You can choose any combination of pads, tampons or pantyliners, in various sizes, up to a maximum of 30 units. Bonjour Jolie supplies national leading brands that you know you can trust. 

Boxes are $16 per month, plus $5 shipping in the US and $10 shipping to Canada.The first box ships within a few days of your order, but subsequent boxes will be shipped to arrive a few days before your projected period start day.

I love the idea of a feminine product subscription service. Funny enough, just this month I found I was out of my favourite products when I needed them the most (TMI??). I don't want to be caught in that position again! I love that everything about the subscription can be customized to suit my needs and the little treats are a bonus!

    I've been subscribed to Bonjour Jolie since July now but I've had quite a few issues with shipping to Canada. My July and August boxes arrived but September and October did not and it's looking like November won't either. I've been in touch with the company and they've refunded me for the months I haven't received so that's not an issue but it's been frustrating to expect the boxes and not receive them. Especially as from looking at peoples blogs, I would have really liked the last two boxes. I'm just wondering if anyone else in Canada is having these same issues?

    1. My last box was September. I never had an issue with shipping, other than the box taking an extra week or so to make its way up to Canada. I did notice after my subscription ended that they started a process where paying Canadian subscribers had to specifically request that their monthly box be shipped, instead of it shipping automatically. I've received two e-mails from them (Oct & Nov), even though I was no longer subscribed, requesting me to confirm whether or not I wanted my monthly box. I don't really understand the reasoning behind going with this model. I mean, if I subscribe to a service for 3 months, I expect to receive boxes for those 3 months. I shouldn't have to e-mail the company each month to specifically request the box that I ordered... maybe that is the issue you experienced? It's a shame you went through these troubles with Bonjour Jolie. I enjoyed the service while I was subscribed.

      There are some other TOM boxes that ship to Canada (check out my Box List page), but I haven't tried them out yet.

    2. Yes, I remember them changing to the model in October. It doesn't explain why my September box never arrived and I did opt in for the October box so it should have arrived as well. My November box came yesterday so that was good. I love the content of the boxes so I'd like to continue subscribing but I'm afraid to have more months not show up!
